The Mix is a fast paced combination boot camp class which is comprised of a combination of strength training and intense cardio. Each and every class is different- which will keep you coming back for more. No more boring workouts! The Mix utilizes circuits, high intensity interval training, close personal attention to technique and form, orthodox and unorthodox tools and exercises, and aerobic and anaerobic exercises. Best of all, The Mix is FUN and these 35 minutes will feel like they’re over before they even start!
Our Kickboxing class at Surf City Fit Club has finally accomplished what was once thought to be impossible- a middle ground between cheesy aerobic cardio kickboxing classes and hardcore fighter training. Taught by experienced kickboxers, this class is designed to give you the best possible calorie burn for your buck- all while giving you an outlet for stress and tension (because who doesn’t like hitting stuff?!). You’ll run through kickboxing combinations on heavy bags and partner up for drills performed on thai pads. Your heart rate will be through the roof for 35 minutes and when your workout is over, you will feel like a champion!
This High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class is based around one of the most efficient fitness tools in history: the jump rope. Taught by veteran jump roper, Coach Hayley, this class will burn up to 700 calories in just 35 minutes. This class will mix it up between jump roping intervals and various other exercises to give you that cardio your heart and lungs crave. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll sweat and you’ll have a blast while blasting fat in Jump Around!
