Kids get strong and gain healthy habits for a lifetime at Surf City Fit Club.
We provide three opportunities per week for children to move their bodies, have fun, sweat, raise their heart rates, build muscle and endurance, get stronger and have fun with their friends while appreciating the benefits of an active lifestyle.
Surf City Fit Club is about promoting healthy body image. Feeling good about where you are helps instill focus on what your body can do, which will result in changes to habit and body composition over time. At Surf City Kids Club, our focus is on helping your kids find the joy in loving themselves, exercise, and challenging themselves to do more than they ever thought possible.
When they join us, they will become strong and learn to enjoy movement which leads to a lifetime of healthy habits. It is important that this be our focus.
We are not a weight loss facility and we do not participate in fat loss and/or nutrition advice related to children. If you are concerned about your child’s weight, please discuss this with their doctor. If you are concerned about getting your child active and making them feel positive about themselves – bring them to Surf City Kids Club!

Jump Around Kids!
Kids will learn endurance, agility, coordination and athleticism in this super fun jump rope based class. They will learn tricks and get their heart rates up and breaking a sweat. Jump Around! Kids is the ONLY kids jump rope program in Orange County!
If your child is interested in beginning Kettlebell Sport, you've found the right place! We are the ONLY youth Kettlebell Sport program in Southern California. We are home to two World Record holding youth (aged 10 and 12) Kettlebell Sport competitors.
Youth may be considered to join our competitive Kettlebell Sport team after having attended our Jump Around Kids! class and/or our Youth Lift program for a minimum of 3 weeks. This period allows our coaches to assess your child's strengths in movement and coordination and plan how to best move forward in their Kettlebell Sport journey.
Kids from utmost beginner to experienced athlete will benefit from our Youth Lift program. The program follows an 8 week progression where children will learn the intricacies of Olympic and powerlifting while gaining strength and confidence. They'll work safely and sanely with barbells to enhance their endurance, speed, agility, coordination and health.
We pride ourselves in putting safety first and teaching technique before loading heavy exercises. Kids in Youth Lift follow a levels system, similar to karate belts, which allow for them to master one skill set before moving onto another.
